Overview

Provide students with today’s most comprehensive, easy-to-use medical coding guide, written specifically for beginner coders. Green's best-selling 3-2-1 CODE IT!, 7E addresses the latest updates on ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS with separate, thorough chapters on inpatient and outpatient coding. Additional chapters detail CPT® and HCPCS Level II coding sets, conventions and guidelines. This well-organized, intuitive approach begins with diagnosis coding, then explores more in-depth coding procedures and services.

Easy-to-understand language, memorable examples and clearly defined key terms help beginning coders master each concept. In addition, extensive exercises, reviews, coding case studies and study checklists help students apply concepts and prepare for earning coding credentials. An accompanying workbook with application-based assignments and MindTap interactive digital resources provide further coding practice.
