Student Activity Manual for Augustyn/Euba's Welten: Introductory German 1st Edition by Prisca Augustyn/Nikolaus Euba

Overview

The Student Activities Manual (Arbeitsbuch) offers additional practice with vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing, as well as video viewing and listening comprehension opportunities that feature simulated conversations and pronunciation practice.

Prisca Augustyn

Prisca Augustyn is Professor of German and Linguistics at Florida Atlantic University, where she has been in charge of the German language program since 2002. She teaches courses in German, linguistics and semiotics. Her interest in how we form subjective models of the world through language informs not only her research in linguistics/semiotics, but finds expression in the development of teaching materials and methods for the classroom.

Nikolaus Euba

Nikolaus Euba is a Senior Lecturer in German and Director of the German Language Program at the University of California, Berkeley, where he teaches language courses at all levels and mentors graduate students who teach in the German department. His research interests focus on integrating (literary) texts into foreign language teaching and learning, a topic on which he frequently develops workshops and gives presentations. In the summer, he serves as Language Program Coordinator at the Freie Universität Berlin Summer University (FUBiS), and he is a consultant to the College Board’s AP German program. In 2013, he was selected as the AATG Post Secondary Outstanding Educator.
